ICE is Ideas for Creative Exploration

1. "A Good Man Is Hard to Find", a recipient of a 2002-2003 ICE Project Grant, will be
performed at two locations this month. The original chamber opera, based on a short story
by Flannery O'Connor, will be performed at Piedmont College on October 4 and at the
Flannery O'Connor Symposium at Georgia College & State University on October 10. For more

2. Lanier Speaker Series: Christian Bok, Canadian poet and creator artificial languages gives a
reading in Park Hall 265 at 4:30 p.m.  Bok's bestselling book of poetry EUNOIA consists of
chapters which only use words containing the same vowel.  His performances of sound poetry
