1. Ben Coolik's review of lighting designer Willie Williams is featured on the R.E.M. web site <http:

Technology and a collaborator in E.L.I.: Nomad, a project supported by ICE.

2. The Remote Timeline Toolbox (RTT) is a set of Max objects for remote interactivity. These tools
use the Open Sound Control (OSC) network protocol, and are designed to be used in conjunction
with CNMAT's OSC Max objects. Many thanks to Eric Marty for making RTT available to the ICE

4. The CURO 2005 Symposium will be held on April 11 and 12, 2005 in the Tate and Student
Learning Centers. All undergraduate researchers at higher institutions in Georgia are invited to
submit an abstract along with a letter of support from their faculty research mentor. The Call for
Abstracts and Best Papers and the Application to Participate, along with abstracts from past
symposia, are available on the CURO web site, <http://www.uga.edu/honors/curo>.

Last year 152 undergraduates presented original research and creative achievements, representing
all the disciplines at UGA and other higher education institutions in Georgia. Over the past few
years, UGA has welcomed students from Emory, Agnes Scott, Georgia State, Georgia Southern, and
Medical College of Georgia.

The deadline for submission is January 17, 2005.  A team of doctoral graduate students and
faculty representing various disciplines will review abstracts to provide feedback to students who
submit an abstract.
