eco-log workshops

No previous experience is needed. Participants can sign up for fiber art (fabric dye,
surface design, and embellishment) or audio (drumming/ audio experimentation)
workshops by contacting Kate Ross at (706) 352 2167 or visit <http://
www.ecolog.has it>. The work produced in the workshops will be incorporated into
eco-log installation and performance pieces (May 2-4).

eco-log is a collaborative arts project between artists and community members that
explores local ecology and the issue of urban sprawl. The project uses art forms and
technology as tools for representing people's views and experiences. It provides
opportunities for expression, specialist arts exploration, community empowerment
and collaborative skill development for all involved.  eco-log is synthesizing
participatory leadership practices with focused studio production time leading to the
creation of a multi-media exploratory art piece.
