2005-2006 ICE Project Grant Call for Proposals

ICE is seeking proposals for projects to be initiated during the 2005-2006 academic year. Selected
proposals may receive awards up to $2,500, technical and creative support, and assistance with
the presentation of completed projects.

Eligibility
Lead applicant must be a full-time faculty member or a full-time student at the University of
Georgia. ICE encourages collaborative proposals that include faculty and students from more than
one discipline or academic department and/or professionals from outside the University of
Georgia.

Resources
Production, exhibition, and performance facilities of the University of Georgia. ICE will lend
assistance in seeking appropriate venues for exhibitions and performances off campus to give
successful projects regional, national, and international exposure. Web-based projects and
publications can be hosted by ICE.

Deadline
Completed proposal must be received by 12:00 PM on Monday, October 17, 2005.

Award Criteria
1. Intellectual and artistic merit
2. Feasibility of the project under sponsorship of ICE
3. Extent of collaborative and interdisciplinary activity
4. Degree of innovation
5. Potential for future funding and development.
