Markus Huber lists puella as smaller, having fewer ribs, lighter shells, and more compressed valves compared to cuneimeris. His photos also seem to indicate more prominent radial structure in cuneimeris. I don't know how reliable those differences are.

Subject: [CONCH-L] Anomalocardia

Anyone out there know the distinguishing character(s) between Anomalocardia cuneimeris and puella?

Thanks,

John
