That’s really interesting. A cross between a deer cowries and a measled cowrie is something that I’ve never seen. I’ve collected cowries up and down the Florida keys and found them living in the same area even occasionally where both species are found under the same rock, and I’ve never seen or heard of a cross breeding. I would love to hear from someone who has collected one and can show everyone a picture of it.
