Dear Naba

I also experienced this kind of problem. There could be some hidden characters in your weather file. The solution for this is you import and again export your weather file to DSSAT3 using weather utilities. This worked for me. Hope this will work.

Thanks

K.Srinivas

Hi Richard
Thanks for comments. However, max temperature has not been below 16
degrees in fact, when I looked them minutely. Any other possible ways to
deal with please???
Thanks
Naba

Hello,
Maize simulation may terminate when kernel growth is low for two
consecutive days. One condition that can cause this is very low air
temperature, i.e. max temp is less than 6 C.
  I hope this helps.
Sincerely,
Richard
