Dear Dr. Abdalla,

by now you already got a number of useful replies to your question, and there is not much that I could add.

I got a bit curious reading your short project description in combination with your rather novice-question about DSSAT.
Could you give me and the other DSSAT users some more clues about what you in detail are doing?
100 km2 cells, that's not actually small. Do you assume a single crop for each of these cells?
What types of crops do you simulate?
Do you assume that crop varieties will be fixed? (There could be some adaptation to climate change by changing varieties.)
I assume that you have gathered sufficient details on crop physiology to describe crop response to rising CO2 and temperatures (day&night), maybe prolonged growing season, and water stress in some extremely dry years (to mention a few effects of climate change)!
Could you share some of your experiences here?

Best regards,
Rolf Sommer
