Colleagues,

ICASA (www.icasa.net) will host its Ninth Open Forum at the ASA-CSSA-SSSA

meetings in Salt Lake City. If you are attending the meetings, please join

us at:

Monday, 7 November, 7:30–9:00 pm

Radisson Downtown, Parleys 1, Second Floor

Issues we expect to cover include:

- New co--chairs of ICASA

- Status of revised ICASA standards and development of databases for

experimental data

- New working group on gene-based modeling

- New cotton modeling group

- Upcoming modeling events: BSSG, DSSAT4, European Soc. Agronomy

- New ICASA forum at www.icasaforum.net

If you aren't coming to Salt Lake City, please feel free to send me issues

or questions (but _please_ don't reply to this message unless you want the

general public to read your mail). Also, be sure to check the ICASA web

site and try out the forum.

Best regards,

Jeff White
