Hello,

The PD values used in the model are those entered in the ecotype file. These of course can be changed by a user to reflect the specific genotype being simulated. The equivalences that you cite are the values used in previous model versions, in which they were embedded in the computer code. They are useful as a starting point when calibrating a new cultivar.

Regards,

Tony Hunt

Subject: about the defination for PD1,…PD4

Hello,

I have found two kinds of definition for PD1,PD2,PD3,PD4,of DSSAT-wheat
in some paper. First , PD1=PHINTS*400.0/95.0, PD2=PHINTS*3.0, PD=PHINTS*2.0,
PD4=200.0,. Second, PD1, PD1,PD2,PD3,PD4 were found in ecotype file of DSSAT
V4.0.

My question is which kind of definition for PD1,PD2,PD3,PD4 used in DSSAT
V4?

BEST WISHES
