Dear Dssat\'users, In the Specie file for peanut in DSSAT V3.5 there are many funcyions that relate temperature to different crop processes. I am interested in the temperature functions that explain temperature effects on pod set, seed growth and relative changes in partitioning (Seed and Shell growth parameters), although this is also important to the other functions. The minimum, two optimum and maximum temperatures of these functions are mean daily air temperatures?. As I am trying to explain peanut crop responses to simulated changes in air temperature, it is importnat for me to know to which temperatures are these functions related. This same question could be apply to other temperature functions that appear in that file. In addition, the function that relates temperature to pod set, does it refer to pod growth rate?. I seems that this is in that way as it is said in K.J. Boote et al. 1998. The CROPGRO model for grain legumes. pag 99-128. In. Underestanding options for agricultural production.... I will appreciate very much answer to these questions. Sincerely, Marta Vinocur Ing.Agr. M.Sc.
