Aloha John & Cheryl! Chicoreus flavicundus is the Thailand form of brunneus. This is often reffered to dark apertural colours of yellow and most commonly orange. I just arrived from 7 weeks in Thailand & Philippines. The Thai f.is considerably larger than the average sized specimens from the Philippines. Flavicundus is brunneus but averages a larger size in Thailand & tends to be more colourful. I've seen orange apertured brunneus from the Philippines but lacks the size of Thai specimens. Hope this answers your question. CHRIS
