Correct thinking, Carlos, that the cowry should be
restored to its eggs.

Why don't you share with us the data involved with
your find (without actually giving away any secrets
to the location, of course)?

The date you encountered the cowry on eggs, the size
of the cowry and its clutch of eggs (approximate), the
color of the eggs and the depth of the water will all
help at some later date. You could throw in the time of
day, temperature of the water, and a description of the
immediate area (open and current-swept or sheltered and
quiet).

You already have some of the info you seek. You've found
a Cypraea pyrum on eggs: it must be egg-laying time in
your area. Share your information with others to the
maximum degree that you are comfortable to do so.

Happy collecting,
