Linda, I too have a half specimen from north western australia collected by the Marrow family. I see no reason why it couldn't occur in Qld as well, but cannot recall having seen specimens other than NWA. When I can find my copy of Kev Lamprells bivalve books I will check what he says. souverbii is quite a distinctive shell to F. fimbria which is the only other comparable species.
