Due to its isolation and remoteness, the Saya de Malha bank has a quite
unique fauna. However, it is also full of common indopacific species. For a
list of species occuring at Saya de Malha, please check an article
published in La Conchiglia, 1995. It reports and illustrates the results of
a russian expedition there, and I recall a complete checklist of mollusca
obtained in that campaign, both rare and common ones. Interestingly, Lambis
violacea occurs also there.
