Carole,

I live in Georgia, between Dallas and Rome in a town called Rockmart. I love doing presentations to youth groups, schools [oceanography class, science club, special ed] and vacation Bible school groups, as well as adults. My presentation is relating to the 'basics' about shells.

I use powerpoint, bring a selection of my shell collection [from the South Pacific] and like to have an interactive presentation.

I am a COA member, but was not planning to attend the convention. Is there a stipend provided for speakers or is it strictly voluntary?

How many presentations? I can do one [condensed] or four or five segments, an hour each. If you think I can be worked into the speakers slots, I'd be happy to send you an outline of the areas I cover.

Thank you,

Linda Darlene Gibson
