I had the exact same experience as you regarding a ketyana lutea that Andrew Sharpe had listed. I wrote several tmes and never received a response. I even called when I was visiting Vancouver - no response. Next thing I knew, several weeks after my last inquiry, the shell was listed as sold.
Poor customer service.

Several years ago I purchased several nice shells from him without any issues at all. Seemed to be a nice fellow. Last year I tried to purchase a Conus I saw on his web site. I made an inquirely which he didn't respond to-later I saw the web site had been upgraded to show the shell was no longer being offered. It would have been polite, of course, to let me know the shell was no longer there, however I can hardly say that I truely have an issue with his services.
