My definition of rare is something very unusual that I have caught or
found somewhere where it didn't oughter be.

Example: Conus dusaveli is now common from the Visayan Sea, but mine, from
the Pacific Ocean side of the Philippines, must be almost unique. But the
circumstances of collection don't matter to a dealer.

I was crushed by a dealer who told me he could get a certain cowry from
the Marshall Islands, in quantity, for much less than I was asking for my
single one from here

best regards
