Pardon this random posting. I recently visited Campobello Island, Canada, just over a short bridge from Eastport, Maine. Campobello is best known as the location of the summer home of US President Franklin Delano Roosevelt. While touring the house I couldnt help notice several specimens of the Atlantic Pelicans foot, Apporhais occidentalis, in the main room (fireplace mantle) and elsewhere. Someone in the family must have had a conchologist's eye? ---------------------------------------------------------------------- [log in to unmask] - a forum for informal discussions on molluscs To leave this list, click on the following web link: http://listserv.uga.edu/cgi-bin/wa?SUBED1=conch-l&A=1 Type your email address and name in the appropriate box and click leave the list. ----------------------------------------------------------------------
