Carl Slotnick just gave me a headsup on the current episode of Nature making the rounds on our PBS stations, called Cuba- the Accidental Eden about the unique Cuban ecosystems and their historical/natural context. They had segments about local landshells including Polymita and some other karst-dwelling species that i didnt hear the name of mentioned. They also showed something called a pancake slug, which seemed well-named. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- [log in to unmask] - a forum for informal discussions on molluscs To leave this list, click on the following web link: http://listserv.uga.edu/cgi-bin/wa?SUBED1=conch-l&A=1 Type your email address and name in the appropriate box and click leave the list. ----------------------------------------------------------------------
