Dear DSSAT community:

I would like to share two job opportunities available in the Water Resources Research Lab at the University of Florida. These positions will contribute to multiple projects on understanding phosphorus dynamics, modeling evapotranspiration at field scales, and understanding saltwater intrusion impacts on soil health. These projects seek to develop the best water and land management practices that conserve water, and improve crop productivity while protecting water quality. The two positions are:

1. Postdoctoral researcher: I am looking to recruit a dynamic postdoc researcher with experience in water quality and crop modeling. A Ph.D. degree is required in Agricultural Engineering, Soil and water sciences, environmental engineering, agronomy, or a closely related discipline. Candidates with programming skills will be desirable.

2. Research scientist/visiting research scholar: research experience in water science, soil science, agronomy, and other related fields.

These positions will be for one year with a possibility of extension deepening on performance and availability of funding. The positions will be based at the Tropical Research and Education Center of the University of Florida, Homestead, Florida (https://trec.ifas.ufl.edu/). Interested candidates should send their CV and a statement of research interests to [log in to unmask] by July 15th.

Best regards

Haimanote
