The initial appointment will be for 2 years. The location is Firenze, ITALY. CNR IBE is inviting applications for the position within the Project: ITINERIS, ITALIAN INTEGRATED ENVIRONMENTAL RESEARCH INFRASTRUCTURES SYSTEM, ESFRI ENVIRONMENT - funded by REFORMS AND INVESTMENTS UNDER THE RECOVERY AND RESILIENCE PLAN NextGenerationEU, Mission 4 – “Education and Research” Component 2: from research to business Investment 3.1: “Fund for the realization of an integrated system of research and innovation infrastructures Action 3.1.1 “Creation of new research infrastructures strengthening of existing ones and their networking for Scientific Excellence under Horizon Europe. *Topic* The candidate will work on optical remote sensing of terrestrial ecosystems by means of a range of technologies and platform, including satellite, airborne, UAV, and ground sensors. Measurement campaigns will be performed within the WP “Terrestrial Biosphere” of the ITINERIS project and within national and international environmental infrastructures, to retrieve biophysical properties and traits of agro-ecosystems.
