Up to 20 junior and up to 20 senior teams can go at 1:00, and the remaining teams will compete as usual at 4:30. This 1:00 start time is completely optional; any and all teams can compete at 4:30 if needed. The FFA Floriculture Career Development Event is designed to stimulate career interest, encourage proficiency development, and recognize excellence in students of floriculture production and maintenance through the agriculture education curriculum. *Eligibility* *Junior:* This event is a four (4) person team that is open to students in grades 6-9 who are agricultural education students, and are paid members of a chartered FFA chapter. *Senior:* This event is a four (4) person team that is open to students in grades 9-12 who are agricultural education students, and are paid members of a chartered FFA chapter.
