This is a reminder that if you have a student who will be interviewing at the state FFA convention as a proficiency finalist, please consider bringing them to Veterans High School on Monday, April 15 at 4:00 PM for the Central Region Mock Interviews.
In order to make this endeavor effective, please make sure your proficiency students have their opening statement (1 minute) created and memorized. Also, bring two printed copies of the proficiency application and have them be prepared for questions. They will deliver the 1 minute statement and answer questions from several different judges in several different rooms. Therefore, they need to be mentally prepared to give the speech several times. Official dress is recommended.
