----------------------------Original message---------------------------- To confuse the matter a bit further I thought I would refer to a recent 'Airport Obstruction Chart.' The February 1993 ed. for Olympia Airport in Olympia, WA lists "SEVEN" different coordinate locations: an Airport Location Point; an Airport Reference Point; and five runway lat/longs! The ARhappens to be along the edge of one of the runways. David A. Cobb Harvard Map Collection ----------------------------Original message---------------------------- ----------------------------Original message---------------------------- I looked at both NOAA and DMA charts, but couldn't find the lat/long indicated for airports. I did find on the Missouri state aeronautical chart an airport directory which listed lat/long for each airport in degrees and minutes. Since most runways are less than a minute long, these lat/long notations are too vague to determine if they refer to the tower, radar, or what.
