----------------------------Original message---------------------------- I kind of think that nearly everybody who's doing stuff on workstations of the PC class in engineering firms ought to be able to produce a .DXF file, even if it isn't the native format for that app. I haven't seen a "real" CAD application as opposed to the $39.00 CAD applications for home use that isn't capable of producing a .DXF file. A .DXF file is pretty straight forward to produce and even packages like CorelDraw include the filters to produce a .DXF dimensioned drawing.
