----------------------------Original message---------------------------- A comment about Alice's note on arriving early, etc. - Also be sure that if you are carrying floppy disks you've got documentation on what's on them and a Xerox copy of the license agreement for anything that's licensed software. If you travel with a notebook computer, you should do the same as the floppy travellers and also be prepared with a copy of the bill of sale if you own the PC or a letter from your employer if your company owns the PC. You may be required to post a bond which will be returned when you leave the country. Sigh! Getting into and out of Heathrow, Vienna, Brussels, Amsterdam, Paris, Zurich, and Hamburg didn't total the amount of time I spent in Canadian Customs hell for bringing 19 floppy disks which contained only my own daily work files, no licensed software, etc. Can you tell I'll never take any computer anything to Canada again? ;-) HTH. vh
