----------------------------Original message---------------------------- Dear Ross, I am totally biased, but may I suggest that before you buy a Britannica Atlas that you have a look at the new Times Concise Atlas 7th Ed? This is distributed in the US by Random House and to my mind is far more attractive to look at. It also has the advantage of having just been completely redone from a new computer map database, whereas the Britannica uses RandMcNally maps that although updated have been around for some time. Atlases periodically need a major revision and update because you always end up missing some small changes and the effects become cumulative. regards, Tim Rideout Note: These are my personal views and this in no way constitutes an official statement by my employer (Bartholomew).
