The draft Terms of Reference for the Post follow below: =20 POST DESCRIPTION: CROPPING SYSTEMS AGRONOMIST-INFORMATION MANAGEMENT = EXPERT General Statement: The incumbent will: Provide information and advice to member governments = on=20 means to enhance sustainable crop production systems; provide leadership = for=20 development of Modern Information Management systems related to crop=20 management technologies to be developed in partnership with staff from = FAO=20 and other institutions; provide leadership for electronic conferences to = be=20 created and managed on selected topics regarding crop improvement and=20 management; synthesise information on cropping systems management and = related=20 information systems; develop training materials related to integrated = crop=20 management; perform other related duties. Specifics: Under the direct supervision of the Senior Officer leading the Field = Food=20 Crops Group and under the overall direction of the Chief of the Crop and = Grassland Service, the incumbent will perform a range of tasks to = strengthen=20 the Agricultural Department's capacity to provide timely information of = the=20 highest quality on integrated crop management technologies.
