A recent message inquired about viewing an image sent by a Mac as a .HQX
file. This is a "MacBinary" file, the usual form used for sending binary
files for use by Macs. My son, the Mac user says there is a program for
Windows that will decode the HQX files. He thinks it's a version of
Stuffit
Expander, by Aladdin Software that you can download from their WWW site.
Once it's decoded, any viewer that can display the image format (JPEG,
etc.) should be able to show it.
