Probably your best bet would be to purchase a small hot glue gun.
There are several kinds of "glue sticks" you can get for such an
instrument, including clear ones.  You don't have to wait for these
glues to "dry".  They come as a solid. The gun melts the glue by
heating it, and dispenses it where it is needed, and as soon as it
cools (just a few seconds) it becomes solid again.
There are also several brands of clear "5 minute epoxy" that will
adhere tenaciously to glass, and almost anything else.  Epoxies are a
little cumbersome to use though - they come as two separate components
that have to be mixed, and if you are using one of the 5-minute
varieties, you only have that long to use up what you have mixed.
Meanwhile, you have to hold glued components in place until the epoxy
sets.  The glue gun would be superior I think.
