OK, all, this has nothing to do with shells either. But I have
noticed a difference in behavior in my yard. We have rabbits and
squirrels. The behavior is consistant in both. If I walk up the
driveway, they scatter as soon as they see me. If I drive my car
slowly up the driveway, they will remain until I am as little as
three feet from them. Do they not see a car as a menace? It is also
true of birds as well: Starlings, Sparrows, and Robins. I can
approach much closer in the car than on foot. I am sure the car makes
more noise than a walker. Any opinions?
