It is not surprising that Linnaeus holds the record for total species
named, since he named everything in sight, from grass to whales.
Surely though, he cannot hold the record for molluscan species named?
 Certainly some of the great names in malacology/conchology like
Sowerby, Reeve, Lamarck, etc. must have named more molluscs than
Linnaeus?  Does anyone know who holds the molluscan record for new
species described/named?  Does anyone have a top 10 list handy?
Art, I think what Andrew is saying is that you are definitely one of
the gang, though quite possibly in a distinct sub-gang.
