Hi Flavio, If lurida is like most of the cowries I've dealt with, they will do fine in the aquarium as you have it set up. You will probably need to go back and get different rocks with sponges occasionally. Remember to add distilled water or rain water to replace the water that evaporates. If you add more sea water, it will become too salty and the cowries will die. Good luck, cheers, Don ---------- > From: Flavio Favero <[log in to unmask]> > To: [log in to unmask] > Subject: help to take Luria lurida alive in acquarium > Date: Monday, October 11, 1999 1:36 AM > > Hi friends, > > There is someone that could help me to take alive some > Luria lurida in acquarium? > I'm not an acquarium expert, but I have had the luck to > find some luria lurida alive and I'd like to study them. > In the acquarium I have put rocks with sponges that > they eat and the water is taken in the same area where > I have found them > Any tips will be appreciated!!! > > > .~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^. > FLAVIO FAVERO > Via G.B.Aleotti 4 > 44100 Ferrara - ITALY > Tel: (0532) 752502 > EMAILS [log in to unmask] > [log in to unmask] > [log in to unmask] > [log in to unmask] > ICQ UIN : 5638595 (Nick: Flypers) > WEB PAGE : http://www.geocities.com/capecanaveral/6276 > .~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^.
