Hello,
That information is available on the WAML Map Librarian's
toolbox. It was generated from the National Topographic Maps Database
which is available on the GNIS disks. The numbers given are the total
number of USGS Topographic Maps of a given scale. It does NOT include
the number of duplicate or superceded topographic maps. Linda Zellmer

Does anyone know of a ready reference which breaks down the total count
of USGS 7.5' topos by state?
The WAML Map Librarian's Tool Box is excellent, but only grand totals
are shown (53,252), and AK series, etc. I have looked on the USGS site,
but to no avail.
Any leads would be greatly appreciated.
