The Edwin J. Foscue Map Library is physically on the ground floor of the
main campus library and in heirarchy was recently placed under the
government documents librarian, although this position is being
reconsidered.

Hi all,

I'm in the last few weeks of teaching a class on map librarianship at
San
Jose State University's Library School.  During the final class, August
2nd, I would like to give the students an idea of where map libraries
"sit"
within the broader library structure.  If you have a minute, would you
please send me that information about your library?

To give you an idea of what I'm looking for, here is my hierarchy.

The Map Collections physically sits in the Branner Earth Sciences
Library,
which is part of the Science and Engineering Resources Group, whose
chair
reports to the Associate University Librarian for Collections and
Services
who reports to the Director of the Library.
