Helen Jane,
thanks for being one of my mentors when I first started in Maps at MSU. Johnny, Jim, John Schroeder were the best friend mentors one could ask for. Felicidades on your retirement.

Sinceramente,

Joe & others -

I believe that Angie will agree that this IS an appropriate forum for us to
recognize the achievements of those fortunate enough to be able to retire
after such a significant career. Helen Jane and I, and several others, have
seen many many changes since we began our work in map libraries in ummmm,
ummmm, some years ago. She has had a significant impact on every collection
that she has worked in and has been unselfish of her time when assisting
younger colleagues in the profession. She will be missed at the University
of Florida but surely deserves a restful and relaxing retirement. Best of
luck to you Helen!

David
