One explanation may be this: the 1970 editions are photo revisions, so
that the quads appear with an earlier date (e.g. 1964), but with a photo
revision date (e.g. 1978). Also many topos in the 1980s and 1990s were
published as special editions, so they may have different call numbers
in your library.
