Susan,

Please do share any findings you get with us, I have seen a couple of
copies of these maps in recent years too and I believe I dated them at
the "questionable decade" level by looking at names of specific
countries in Africa, Asia, and Europe. Hopefully there is a key to the
alphanumeric code though, that would make our lives much easier!
