Salim,

We are considering a similar purchase.

We are considering either the HP Designjet 820 MFP,

or a separate printer and scanner.

Printer options are: HP800ps 42in, or **HP 55000ps 60 in.**

Scanner options are Contex Crustal 600 42" Plus, or **Contex 54" Magnum
G600 Color Plus**, or GTCO Calcomp ScanPlus6 LP954

We have hundreds of very large format maps to digitize for archival and
access purposes. As of today, our preferences are the ones in bold lettering.

I have found two articles helpful in presenting our argument:

How to Justify a Large-Format Scanner, Part 1

How to Justify a Large Format Scanner Part 2

They have been published in /Cadalyst/, and you should be able to find
them on the web.

Until later,

Cynthia
