All

May I take this opportunity to alert you to the impending publication of
a special issue (Dec 2005) of The Cartographic Journal edited by the Map
Curators' Group of The British Cartographic Society. The article on
storage of paper cartographic items in libraries and archives humbly
written by myself addresses some of Angie's questions.

Thanks for the lead-in Angie! I hope everyone will enjoy the special
issue.

Regards
April

RE MAPS-L: Rolled wall maps - modern thoughts ...
DA Friday, 3 Dec 2005
TO Maps-L
FR Angie

Happy Friday everyone!

In this day and age of digital this and digital that, I'm curious what
others are doing with their rolled wall maps.

Do you keep them?

Do you use them?

How do you store them?

What is their value in the world of historic cartographic information?

Thanks for your thoughts.

Angie
