I've been touring the Reference and Wall Maps section of this site and am
really impressed--it's clear, informative and a beautiful showcase for the
maps.

I particularly liked the "more views" button, which allows you to zoom and
pan on any part of a map, including the border.  Even with successive zooms,
the images were so crisp that not only could I see the map detail, but also
read the title, date, scale and even NGS number.

Most of the maps are of the "general" variety, though they've included a few
thematics.
