One potential source, which we have just received as a copyright
deposit, are the Sanborn Ortho products. These are, essentially, the
modern equivalents of the older maps published by the Sanborn Map
Company with which we are all familiar.

(And, no, they are not available for ILL).

See http://www.sanborn.com/products/orthos.asp and

Since Hollywood Blvd. is part of the city of Los Angeles, you may want
to try:
--Los Angeles Transportation Department
http://ladot.lacity.org/
--Department of Public Works
http://www.dpw.lacity.org/index.html
--Board of Public Works
http://bpw.lacity.org/
--Department of City Planning
http://cityplanning.lacity.org/
* GIS Map Gallery
http://cityplanning.lacity.org/
--Your Government at a Glance
http://cityclerk.lacity.org/cps/pdf/govtglnc.pdf
Provides information and phone number of City of Los Angeles government
and organizational structure.

Hi all-

We have a upper division environmental design class that’s looking to
find building elevations, street dimensions and building footprints for
an area on Hollywood Blvd. We’re in the process of contacting the
professor to see where he expects the students to find this information,
but in the meantime we thought we’d email Maps-L to see if any of you
had ideas. Apparently Google Earth Pro would be usable in a case like
this, but no lab on campus supports the pro version.

Thoughts? Suggestions?

Thanks-

Ilene
