Nominations will be accepted between October 1 and November 1, 2013 for the MAGIRT Honors Award. The recipient will be announced and honored during a MAGIRT event at the 2014 American Library Association Annual Conference in Las Vegas. The award recipient(s) need not be present at the conference to be chosen (although it is a whole lot more fun that way!). Recipients receive a certificate, a trophy or similar item, and a cash award as determined by the MAGIRT Executive Board. Remarks made at the awards reception and pictures of the recipients are published in base line. Lastly, notification of the award will be sent to the director of each recipient's institution as appropriate or desired.
