     I read this this morning and thought I would share. Rich was a long
     time CARL member.

     California Faculty Association is sad to announce the passing of
     longtime Chico State faculty member and union activist Richard Soares.

     Rich working as an Agriculture Librarian at Chico was active in CFA.

     Funeral services will be held on the evening ofFriday, January 18,
     2013, at 7 p.m. in the chapel of the LDS Church located at2430
     Mariposa Avenue, Chico, CA 95926.

     Donations may be made in Rich’s memory to:
