I purchased my first iPad to use the Avenza application. I (Williams &
Heintz Map Corp.) have 2 maps on the app so far. I needed to be able to
use an iPad., to promote my product.

We can offer you one idea of how to use an iPad with maps.

Check out the PDF Maps app for iOS in the app store.

https://itunes.apple.com/ca/app/avenza-pdf-maps/id388424049?mt=8

With that you can load any georeferenced image or pdf onto the device
and do things like locate yourself, measure distances and areas, collect
data with attributes, export and import data etc.
The ability to load any of your maps onto a i-device and actually use
them rather that just look at them is a compelling argument for iPad
use.

Hope this helps.

Regards

Ted
