Several of you have inquired about the status of the Federal Geographic Data
Committee's (FGDC's) NSDI competitive cooperative agreements program, for
which we forwarded the formal announcement to the list in March.  The program
announcement now is being mailed.  The deadline for application is June 13,
1994, at 3:00 pm.
 
Persons who have not requested the application package yet may request it from
Nedra Stallone, U.S. Geological Survey, Office of Procurement and Contracts,
MS 205A, 12201 Sunrise Valley Drive, Reston, Virginia 22092.  Please request
Program Announcement Number 8071.  All questions should be referred to
Ms. Stallone at the address above or telephone number 703 648 7364.
