A patron has asked for our assistance in locating some towns in
Russia. The catch - with which I'm sure you're all familiar - is that
they got their information from obituaries and other sources that may
or may not be reliable, and the places may not even exist anymore. Here
are the three places that are supposed to be (or have been) in Russia:

                                Valskaja

                                Laube (or Lauve)

                                Blumenfeld

A couple of them don't sound too Russian, but who's to say.
Our collection of Historic, and or Russian maps is not the best,
and our copy of "Where Once We Walked" is out on loan for a few more
weeks. Any and all assistance is welcome.

    Thanks in advance,
