I did track down a reference to an A R Geyer....he is assocated with the
creation of a geolgical  map of Pennsylvania (1958)...probably our same
man.  I can find no reference to a commericial "Geyer" operation but a
search on 411 did turn up 3 Alan Geyers in Florida.  One of these is Alan
Sheri Geyer, not the right one.  There is an Alan Geyer in Clearwater and
one in Venice.  Venice is not far from Sarasota, soooooooooooo
