The United Nations Global Geospatial Information Management Academic
Network of the Americas (GGIM-ANA) is sponsoring a 2 hour symposium on the
ethical use of geographic information in academia. “Education in the
Ethical Use of Geographic Information” on March  22, 2021. 11:30 am to 1:30
pm (San Francisco (PST, GMT-8), 2:30 pm to 4:30pm (New York (EST, GMT-5)

The aim of this symposium is to discuss the importance, need and strategies
for teaching ethics in the GIS and Spatial Analysis classes.

La Red Académica de las Américas del Comité Regional de las Naciones Unidas
sobre la Gestión Global de Información Geoespacial (ANA-GGIM) llevará a
cabo unas jornadas sobre el uso ético de la información geográfica,
incluyendo la realización del Simposio virtual  “Enseñanza para el uso
ético de la Información Geográfica” el día 22 de marzo 2021 (San Francisco
